Mission STEMCAP

Mission STEMCAP is a programming series in which STEMCAP staff and guest presenters work with students over a span of two weeks to focus on one of the five environmental “Grand Challenges” of today: biodiversity loss, pollution, overconsumption, extinction, and climate disruption.

A group of students will work with STEMCAP staff and guest presenters for about one period a day over two weeks. The “mission” is to help students learn about, respond to, and teach others about their assigned grand challenges through multiple workshops while demonstrating to students how they can tackle grand challenges in their own lives.
