Joshua HeyerA Nontraditional Path to Success
Joshua Heyer received his B.S. in Geography and Environment and Natural Resources and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Wyoming. He received his Master’s in Geography from the University of Utah and is scheduled to defend his PhD in Geography from the University of Utah in January 2020. Josh’s research focuses on climate and vegetation interactions. During his graduate career, he has worked on hydroclimate and paleoecology projects using traditional field methods and sedimentary analyses as well as data analyses in R and Python. He is currently employed at RedCastle Resources remote sensing as a government contractor while and is finishing his PhD.
